Tyson Former Trainer helps Get Fit Franklinton N.C.
Greeting from the Town of Franklinton, Trainer Aaron Snowell the former trainer of Mike Tyson is helping the Town Of Franklinton N.C. with GET FIT! Franklinton. Greetings from the Town of Franklinton! Our community is a thriving small town on the northern edge of the Research Triangle Park. Since our founding as a "railroad" town some 165 years ago, we have been a close-knit community and remain so today. It is within this vein that a committee of citizens and medical professionals convened just over one year ago to begin creating a program for our Town's citizens called GET FIT Franklinton. Why create this program? The reason is simple. We are not a healthy community. We have many active citizens, but as a whole, or community simply is not a healthy one. Thus, we have created a committee to move a program forward to change our community's outlook on healthy active. We call it Get Fit Franklinton because that's exactly what we want to do-we want our commuity to more fit and active! You are cordially invited to attend Get Fit Franklinton's First Annual Walk/Run and Community Health Fair. The kick-off event will be held on Satuday, May 7, 2011 9a.m. until 1p.m. on Main Street in Franklinton. For vendor application fill out and send back to our staff, You may fax the application to (919)494-7804, p.o.box 309, Franklinton, NC 27525 or email to nmay@franklintonnc.us Registration is for May 7, 2011 at 8a.m. Tammy Mason Ray Interim Town Manager P.O.Box 309 7 west mason street Franklinton, NC. 27525
