Leonard Ciuffoli PFC US Army Fort Myer Boxing Team,
Birth: July 28, 1999
Death: April 12, 2020
In this event of tragedy. We lost more than a loved one. Ciuffoli, was a Soldier, Husband Father, Son and much more to those who know him. Although he is no longer with us there is one thing that death cannot touch and that is the memories left behind with those he had encountered.
We mourn the lost of a 20 years old Leonard Ciuffoli, PFC US Army Fort Myer Boxing Team Member.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the Family's members and the boxing team mates of the deceased Soldier, We are providing every comfort and assistance that we can to all involved.
Leonard Ciuffoli was married to Kyira Natashia Ciuffoli, Leonard is survived by his son Takan King Ciuffoli and Kyira is expecting in months to come. In addition his father and mother sisters and brothers are Elizaveta Sergeev, Carlo Ciuffoli, Isadora Ciuffoli, Anton Ciuffoli.
The place he call home was Sacramento CA.

Words can't even explain the hurt, pain, and emptiness that is felt. There is a huge void that cannot be filled. When you talk about Leo, you have to mention his wife (kyira) and his son (Tak'ari). His energy was contagious, there is no way you look at him and not laugh, or pick your game up. He was a competitor of competitors. Any challenge, obstacle, and his way really wasn't oh, it was just his decision when he wanted to move it. He started boxing in Australia at the age of 9, and yes he was good. He won the Golden Gloves in Australia and they wanted him to go to Rio for the Junior Olympics. He won before coming to America. While in California Boxing was not his priority, family was. He had his son Tak'ari and then left to become one of America's Finest soldiers. Challenging himself he became an 11B infantryman, he always stated "I want to be the best" and he really was. As a South Pole he was so crafty, at times keeping more experienced opponents off-balance and And showing his fellow teammates what's expected in and out of the rain. Family is what we preach on our team and this proved that he was much more than a fighter. He is loved even now. As he looks down on a smiling, because he always had one on his face, just know your family won't want for nothing. We got you little brother, keep watch over us and we will see you on the Green.

wasn't just a soldier performing in the gym, or in the ring that made him special, but the dedication, hard work and sacrifice necessary to reach and maintain that status. Because those factors gave him power to motivate, inspire and leave a lasting impression on people. God Bless Him

We are praying for and with the Ciuffoli's family, friends and the boxing team. Boxing is a great sport for a young boxer looking to make a name for himself.
Boxing is about much more than the big name events. There are real people in it like SPC Leonard Ciuffoli a soldier and a boxing champion.
I had the pleasure of meeting Leo as he is called
at Fort Myers Henderson Hall Boxing Program with Sergent David Pough SFC, and Yusuf Hillman Chaplain, Exercise Coach.
I talked with Leo, he was looking for a better life in boxing, to turn pro and to become world champion.
I watched him training. He was a hard worker, very great boxing skills and had a great training team.
Boxing can propel an unknown person to the heights of success. Leo had a reputation of a talented boxer.
Leo said, he worked hard with his character than his reputation because the character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.
Leo made each day of training a master piece.
Talent is GOD's given.
